Brain came home today and was upset because I still have not sprayed the weeds in our front yard! (Oh and "WE" forgot to register the boat this month, so no boating this weekend. Good thing it was crappy weather.)
Our grass is amazing, we never need to mow it, but the weeds, from watering with secondary and living more in the country, are taller and more noticeable than the beautiful green grass! I tend to stay pretty busy with my 4 children at home and even with Jacob in school now I found it difficult to go out buy a chemical and then come home and spray a dangerous chemical all while taking care of my small children! I had asked a couple people what they thought I should use to spray and they suggested a few things.
"Don't go buy any, just use mine I have a ton" my dad said... so I didn't go and buy any and now I was getting a negative reaction from Brian who wanted those weeds gone NOW!
So Brian did what any husband would do, he went outside with a shovel and started to dig up the weeds leaving big holes in my grass! I THINK HE LOST IT FOR A BIT!
UPDATE: Brian left for a week, and the grass still has a ton of weeds scattered through it. Long story short, the holes have dirt in them and I have a gallon of 2 4,D in my garage!
A BIG thanks to Rachel who came over with 2 4, D and sprayed my weeds in my grass! I think you might have saved my marriage! OH and my grass! I am sure I will need to do a follow up treatment but at least it has been sprayed!
