Diaper on the coffee table explained!

I took a quiz, I never take those stupid facebook quizes and now I know why. The quiz was "what kind of mom are you?"

Everyone that I know all 9 friends that took this quiz were "middle of the road kind of gal"

I thought that is me! Some of the questions were hard to answer, none of them really fit but I tried to pick the one that fit the best. One question asked what would you do if your baby dropped her binky? 1. would you instantly sanitize it with your handy dandy sanitizing kit
2. would you put it in a baggy and sanitize it when you arrived at home
3. would you pull out another binky from it's freshly sanitized container and give it to your daughter
4. would you wipe it off on your pants and give it back to her
Well I don't use binky's, my kids have never used them... I don't think I am a freak about sanitizing it, my first thought was I would check it for dirt, rinse it off if water was close by and if not I would suck it off and then give it back to the screaming child! If it were diabetes, I would have 6 of everything handy and I would sanitize and replace the needed item. I don't use binky's... WELL GUESS WHAT! My result was...

Loosey Goosey:
You are very relaxed and always confident that things will turn out well in the end. While sometimes this can be a good characteristic others may not see it that way. You're the kind of mom that leaves the dirty diaper laying on the coffee table at your playdate. Your kids are not neglected or unloved, but they are on the wilder side. They are the kids you see at the restaurant screaming and running around throwing food at one another. Life for you is chill, you don't care what others think. When a baby drops her binky you suck off the dirt and hand it back. Your house is chaotic but comfortable, there are things strewn everywhere but people feel relaxed when they come over. You don't believe in discipline, and it shows in your kids but you think that is a good natural way to be. You love your children tremendously but you believe that they should be free to make their own decisions from day one. People may call you sloppy, but to you this is a way of life!

Tears streamed down my face, am I really that way. I had said I would suck off the binky, my kids are out of control, I think I discipline them, I did change my baby girls diaper on the floor at my friends house but I took it out to the trash???? Oh and I am sure that was my kids at the restaurant. This quiz made me feel like a complete failure, I still think loosey goosey from time to time. My house is strewn but it is clean... I am having a hard time with this. Brian is the relaxed and confident one that knows that things will turn out okay in the end not me. I am a worry wart and over prepare girl.
I have been told my kids are on the wilder side, BUT I only care about what others think, I am all about what others think!
I HATE LOOSEY GOOSEY!
Here is ...
Middle of the road kind of gal

You're really the most ideal kind of mom to have- You're not too strict, you're not too loose. The kids know how to have fun at a playdate, and you're not ripping out your hair worrying all of the time about airborn germs and fingerprints. You keep your kids clean and well maintained yet they have fun getting dirty too. You keep your house picked up, but you don't have a home air purifier system and sanitizing wipes stashed in every nook and cranny. Your kids play well with others because they have manners but they're also relaxed enough to make friends. Good for you!

YES, GOOOOD FOR YOU! I hate loosey goosey!

I think you are loosey goosey - now don't get upset again - let me explain. Your house is always a place of welcome. There may be clutter, but it is clean. Your kids are wild, but what boys that age aren't. Mine are also the ones running around the restraunt screaming and they told me I was Middle of the road. Yeah right. I have sanitizer and wet wipes strewn around the house. I freak out when people come over and think my house has to be perfect and follow everyone around cleaning up after them because I am a neat freak. You call that middle of the road?? I think not. At least loosey goosey moms raise kids who know how to handle things themselves and know how to have fun. Who cares about the diaper anyway??? Love you!
