Blessed

Playing more, is the theme! I decided that I do homework and I spend time and even play games with my kids but I don't run around enough with them outside! Winter is coming fast and I want to enjoy the nice weather we have been having so I took the boys outside again today and we played with our frisbee and arobe (no idea how to spell that). Now that we have a lot of room in our back yard we were able to stay right here in our backyard and pass the frisbee and arobe around the yard! It was fun, the boys were not a very good shot at first but as time moved on they became more accurate. I soon remembered that I had received some packages from the "box man" (ups guy) and they had some long plastic bubble wrap stuff in them. I ran to the garage and found them and soon all three (Aiden, Jack and I) of us were running around with these long flowing plastic ribbons behind us! Jumping and spinning we had so much fun.

Until I came back inside to get Charlee... I heard screaming and popping! Jack stepped on Aidens and popped one of them, so Aiden (being the sweet brother he is) turned around and popped 2 or 3 of Jacks! Now Jack had a trail of about 5, where Aiden and I had a trail of about 20. This event did "jack" in and it was complete melt down, with a I'm going to get you and you will be sorry look on his face!
Needless to say I received a phone call from my neighbor, (remember we each have almost 2 acres of property plus the open space) asking me if everything was alright! Yes, everything is okay no blood but if I don't get off the phone their might be ; ) !
Side Note: getting Jack to settle down in the afternoon after a huge temper tantrum is so hard. He wouldn't sit in time out, he was still screaming, his luscious lips red and his mouth wide, had to come inside so I didn't receive any other phone calls. BTW thanks for your concern LaRie, you are an awesome neighbor!
Soon Jacob was home and we were going to gather all the bus kids and play a quick game of soccer but it began to rain so we came inside. The weather turned bad quickly and shortly after dinner the power went out! Perfect time for hide and go seek! The boys helped pick up the house and soon we were all downstairs hiding and well I guess SEEKING! It was fun and the boys played really well together. I soon let them watch "dinosaur train" one of their new favorite TV programs and I went upstairs to get a few things done. I called to the boys, they came upstairs and brought Charlee, we had prayer and they went to bed! I was tired so I did a few things around the house and left the dinner dishes for the morning. The boys had done a terrific job tidying so laundry and dishes were the only thing I had left to do. I put some laundry away and went to bed! STILL NOT SLEEPING WELL, but I had clean sheets! I LOVE CLEAN SHEETS!
