While at the Smith's (Wylder and Kimba) on Sunday the kids found a milkweed patch, with these three monarch caterpillars!
Jacob was able to take them to school and now all three have formed their chrysalis!
NOTE: We told Jacob that he was going to take riding lessons at the Smiths.
Jacob said, those are fake horses... Confused we said no they are not and began to argue with Jacob, reminding him that he rode on the horse at "Smiths" just the other day. He got very sad and said something about quarters and he wanted to learn how to ride a real horse not the fake ones... we then realized he thought we were talking about the fake horse rides at the grocery store Smiths! We explained that Chandler Smith was going to give him riding lessons!

Those catipillars are so cool!
And I absolutely LOVE that story about Jacob! Poor kid thinking you're going to make him take riding lessons on one of those quarter rides!! So funny!!
That is so funny about the "Smith's". Kids are so literal!
Love the caterpillars... such a boy thing to do!
