Errands

HOLY COW! Today was a busy day... I got up early sent Jacob off to school and fed the 3 other kids breakfast, meet with our insurance lady who came by to take pictures of our new wood stove, then left to run errands! I delivered all the pampered chef stuff, signed the kids up for soccer and gymnastics, went to timberline and bought the soccer uniforms and 2 4D for our lawn, went to the skate park and let Jack and Aiden ride around, stopped by Smiths Grocery store and bought a few things on case lot sale, then dashed home in time to get Jacob off the bus at 4:08 PM. FORGOT to get sleeping bag cleaned, another sore spot!

HOMEWORK! Jacob we need to do your home work... "I don't have any homework." Yes you do, you have homework every day... argued with Jacob while helping him do his homework, cooked dinner and fed kids dinner then got kids ready to go to gymnastics. Left for gymnastics at 5:10, drove by the laundry mat, stopped to put the sleeping bag in and realized I took it out of the car. Dropped kids off at gymnastics, helped a 11 year old who was lost and crying, grabbed Jack who was kicking and screaming because he wanted to do gymnastics and put him in the car, drove home as fast as I could because... well lets just say that I "forgot" something at home. Got home, ran in the house checked the thing I forgot, all is good. Put dinner dishes in sink then left to go pick up kids at gym, this time without forgetting anything! Came home explained to Jacob that he had HOMEWORK still and helped/argued with him for another hour until it was time to go to bed. Joel came over for 20 min. to play before the kids had to go get ready for bed. Sent Aiden to walk Joel home. Had kids get ready for bed, and clean rooms etc... Jacob informs me his pump came out. Send him to the shower while his site is out, put other two boys to bed after a quick prayer and brush of teeth, oh and pick up their room because they never get it all. Change Jacobs pump and send him off to bed, all while poor Charlee crawls around following me crying her eyes out. Pick her up feed her a bowl of oatmeal, go to change her into Jammies and realize that she needs a bath. Put her in the sink in my bathroom do a quick sponge/wash put her in a diaper and set her on the floor while I go and get her some jammies out of the dryer! Notice that the two loads of laundry that I did today have not been folded! Come back and see the redness in her face and know what she is doing. I get in my PJ's and then pick her up and change her bum again, put her jammies on and give her a bottle then put her to bed! WOW! Now it is time to pick up after the kids, finish the dishes, laundry, and sweeping. Check the lunch menu and see if I think Jacob is going to have hot or cold... you get the idea. IT WAS A BUSY "NORMAL" day!
