Work all Day, Work all Night

I now, as my cute friends Dad says, "work in my sleep."
I remember the day before the first day of school or an important event, dance, test, etc. I would dream it and stress about it and screw it all up before the day even arrived. This too applied with work, I would often times work in my sleep. Some funny examples would be when I would fill in, to make some big bucks, at the Del Monte plant. It was you, yellow gloves, netting over your hair, apron and a conveyor of green beans. I would go home and dream all those beans coming at me and me trying to pick out all the steams, leaves, and dead creatures (jk) that I could find as fast as I could.

Living in Idaho, I had numerous strange jobs growing up, another one I am very proud of the "big bucks" was picking up worms. We had what was called crawler caller. Up to the alfalfa fields we would go and block off a sprinkler head or two (we had a nifty device for that too didn't we mom?), then we would fill a large 50 gal. drum from one of the sprinklers attached with a clamp and hose, add a cup of crawler caller and dump it. Then we would mark where it went and with our custom knee pad, apron plastic leg things, that my mom invented, we would pick up night crawlers until we could not see anymore and it was dark.
We then would head down the mountain on the four wheeler, me holding the massive amounts of worms, making sure that I always had a few more oz than my mom. Clint was no competition, he picked up the worms with one had and was not into it like my mother and I. Anyway, all night long visions of all those worms in those buckets moving around and me trying to pick them all up. Work all Night!

I have moved on. Last night after watching a few quilting shows and also making a few blocks over the past couple weeks I found myself quilting in my sleep. It was hard, I am not that good and I was doing some amazing things.

So back to Work all Day, Work all Night!!!!

Does anyone else dream these kind of things????

Side Note: the picture is what the worm dream looked like but they were moving around. I can still see it!!!

I had a dream last night that I had my baby, but when I went to show Rachel, my baby was actually a cat--then I got my cat mixed up with my moms cat and then they both ran away. Does that mean I am going to be a crappy mom? As retarded as that dream sounds, it was an emotional dream.

I can laugh at it, but I can see how scary that would be. I am sure he won't be a cat. Although Jack Jack was a harry baby! You are a great mom already!!! I can see that when you talk about and interact with Taylor... No worries.

So funny Tori. You will be changing diapers in your sleep soon!! Work all day AND all night!
I have quilted in my sleep, gardened in my sleep, mowed the lawn, a HUGE one, in my sleep. Lets see what else? Oh, I have bare root potted plants in the snow in my sleep.
I had a friend that worked in a veggie plant and the whole picking out critters of the beans is so not a lie. She told me horrible things about my cans of beans!
By the way, the worms so did not gross me out. I should have been picking them with you!

I don't know how I missed this post. What a picture. I'll let you know if I have nightmares tonight. Stupid but, I use to dream like that when I'd go shopping for school clothes. I'd spend all night looking for these clothes that I love and I'd find them in my dreams but never in real life.
