Day out with Friends

After having Kendal over at my house (for less than 1/2 hour) we had played outside and I made little trails for her to walk around in my back yard. While doing this I thought how fun it would be to play "fox and Geese!" I think that is what we called it, anyway last week when I ran into Rachel I mentioned that on Friday with the kids out of school that we should all meet together at the park and play fox and Geese. She mentioned the word breadsticks and it was a date. We called a few friends and planned to meet around 12:30 on last Friday. It snowed terrible all day but seemed to clear up right around 12:30 so we all headed over to the park.

I being the competitive sort had to challenge everyone to a race. Leaving our kids crying we took their sleds and headed to the top of the hill. Brian had came over earlier with the camera and so of coarse he was bragging about how he was going to win. I went the farthest, it is all about how you hold your mouth!

Jacob was a bit upset in this photo, who knows why but he is making his move on Kelsey!

Aiden was a animal, he didn't understand why everyone was standing around (waiting for their turn) so he would just head down the hill.

Here you can see all the kids lining up and just waiting. Not Aiden he would go down twice before any of the other kids decided who was next.
Have I mentioned that Aiden wants a sister, "not a baby sister, a kid sister like Kelsey." He tells me all the time he hopes the baby is a "kid sister." Oh I told the boys on Sunday!

Has Aiden lifted Kelsey off the snow in this one? Thats my Heavy weight!

Can you see the fear in Amanda's EYES! Do you see that she has now realized asking Brian to give her a "little push" with baby Lydia was a huge mistake.
Brian and Lydia are so into this, do you see Lydia's arms weeeeee! I don't think Brian thought this one through, he is really going to give them a ride to remember.

WE had tons of fun! Thanks everyone who came and we will do this again, only we need more breadsticks next time. I think the hot chocolate was a hit I will do that again too! GOOD TIMES!

That was a great idea! It takes someone else to organize it to get this mamam out in the snow with all three kids.

Poor Poor Brian. I am a whole lotta woman to push back up a little slop and then all the way down the hill. I had no idea how CHUNKY all that snow gear makes me look....or maybe I am just indenial, lol! Thanks again:) Is anybody up for Sundance this year? I have never been and want to see some celebrities and maybe a movie or two. My Woman's man is up there now...BRAD PITT!
