Going Down Under

Today we were able to take the kids to the Kangaroo Zoo. They had so much fun. I only saw Jack and Kendal for a split second and they were off. Matt took time out of his busy schedule to meet us down at the Zoo. I think that Matt and Kendal did the most playing, Matt had fun you could tell, he was all smiles. Jacob and Aiden chased girls most of the time. All that exercise left Jacob pretty low, but a bit of sugar and he was off again. Notice how flushed he gets when his numbers are off.

Jacob saw a friend from school there and had a lot of fun playing with him. Aiden is not pictured because he is sitting in timeout for throwing a fit when I asked him to come and get his picture taken.
Over all the kids were really good, considering that we spent an hour or so in JoAnne's before we went to the Kangaroo Zoo.

I got my fabric for our quilt guild project and I am so excited.

Jack Jack dumped a bag of fish cracker on the floor because he was mad that he fell while running and spilled a few. Wow I don't understand how his little brain works.
Aiden stood on the side of Rachel's cart as a heavy weight then he and Jacob tipped the cart over. Luckily Rachel was there to save all.
Jacob and Aiden loved playing with the American Flags. Brian says he hated fabric stores when he was little, I think my boys had a great time.
We got the kids some lunch on the go and headed to the Kangaroo Zoo, after some terrible directional driving on my part we arrived. Matt arrived shortly after and it was play play play after that. I think we need to get a punch pass and make it Wed. early out tradition. Rachel thanks for going and plan on us for Wed. starting the end of Feb. first of March!

We loved the Kangaroo Zoo, loved it. Thanks for the invite and for letting me ride with you!!
Joann's wasn't too crazy, only moderate. What are the odds with 5 kids and only 2 moms??

Love the "zoo!" That's worth an hour long trip to JoAnne's!

RACHEL RODE WITH YOU???? This is a shocker Rachel. You are coming out of your shell, lol! Looks like so much fun. I bet the kids had such a good time. We will have to definitely make it down there with the boys sometime. I had to chuckle when you explained why Aiden wasn't in the picture....funny!

I am impressed you guys ventured out with the kids to the fabric store. Did they chase each other the whole time? MY boys have a tendency to play tag and hide-and-go seek when we get to those kind of stores. Sometimes I wish I had glue that I could glue their bum-bums to the floor.

Yes, we are so proud of Rachel! She was very good, I know it was really hard for her to make that kind of commitment. I took it to a whole "notha" level when I decided to go home a different way. She was so good. The kids were even really good and Kelsey wanted to ride home with us so she could be boy trapped.

Oh Rachel, I think my kids could easily count as 4 -5 kids all by themselves.

What is so amazing about me riding with someone else? Okay, alot. I am coming out of my car phobia, but don't you girls take advantage of it!
Amanda, they totally played hide and seek all through the fabric aisles. They were all pretty good until we had to WAIT to cut fabric, but by that time we had been there at least an hour!
