Rickenbacker's YUM!

Tonight, Brent, Jody, Dad, Janis, Brian, and I all flew to Ogden for dinner. Brian and I came from Heber and Brent, Dad, and spouses came from Salt Lake. We met at Rickenbacker's, a very nice restaurant at the Ogden Airport. Our reservations were for 6 but we arrived a bit early, parked the airplane informed the line boy that another plane was coming in with 4 other members of our party. Brian also being Brian mentioned that, "it will be a ugly tail dragger with little to no paint on it but what paint is left will be orange." "My brother is going to repaint it someday but he figured he might as well wait until all the paint chips off." Needless to say with all of Brian's comments the line guy was laughing pretty hard.
When they sat down with us, Brent said, did you tell the line guy we were coming, he seemed to know everything about us and our plane.
Upon arrival Brent and Jody excused themselves and went to the restrooms together, a little later, Dad and Janis did the same, they were holding hands. Before we were served our deserts Brian leaned over to me and said very sarcastically, "well I am going to the restroom, want to come." He is very funny!
Here is a sum up of what we ordered on the menu...

SLOW ROASTED PRIME RIB
Some have called our Prime Rib the best they have ever had - Slow Roasted using our Chef’s TOP SECRET method and seasonings. Served with House Green Salad with your choice of dressing. Accompanied by our Smashed New Potatoes, Green Beans and Horseradish Sour Cream

Janis, Brent, and I all had Halibut. Jody, Dad, and Brian went for the prime rib. The girls chose the baked butternut squash raviolis, with an amazing sauce for a appetizer.!!!! Brian and Brent went for the Lobster and white cheddar au gratin potatoes skins! Brian ordered clam chowder while the rest of us went with Salads. We had so much food, the salads, rolls, soup, appetizers, everything was fantastic.
Above it says that "some have called our Prime Rib the best they have ever had." Janis, Brent, and I all at different times mentioned that our Halibut was by far the best we have ever had! IT WAS AMAZING!
Dad kept commenting that the Prime Rib that was being served, looked more like small roasts. He was correct, it was not a small piece of meat!
We told all the same old stories, laughed all the more, and just had a wonderful evening. We will most defiantly do this again. SOON!
Bosshardt's, Crane's, Jones's, Swasey's, Bonner's, Spencer's, we are not picky give us a call!

What a fun date, especially the flight. Food sounds great! I love that the early bird special starts at 5:00. Most places end it by that time.
