Jack and his finger. What to say about Jack Jack and his "right" finger. He had to be a good baby, he had no choice. His mama was dealing with diabetic 3 year old Jacob and very active into everything 18 month old Aiden. Jack Jack had very little mama time. I remember holding him when he was about 6 months old and thinking, I don't ever just hold you. Maybe that is why he loves his bed so much, he was always in it. His love affair might of been a mama replacement, poor Jack.I can't find any pictures of Aiden rubbing his belly, but Aiden loved the soft touch of fingers lightly rubbing over his skin ANYWHERE! As soon as he was old enough to lift up his shirt that is where you would find his hand. I couldn't keep him in zip up snuggly jammies because he couldn't rub his belly. So between about 1 to 1 1/2 years old he had to have a shirt with jammy bottoms for bed so he could have access to his belly.
Story: A few years ago, I went into check on Aiden and Jacob like I always do before I went to bed. I smelled something funny and noticed that Aiden's pillow was wet. I turned on the light and saw that Aiden had thrown up, he was pail colored and he had liquid pooled on either side of his face. I yelled for Brian to come up and help me, we put him in the tub, changed his sheets and started getting him dressed into PJ's. I pulled out a orange shirt that he would wear with two O's in the name "spooky" that glowed in the dark. Aiden, who is still sick and very weak, holds up his hands and says... "spooooooky" while moving his fingers in a spooky typing like motion. Brian and I both burst into a smile, what a sweet boy. I layed with him and rubbed his belly for him until he fell back asleep!

Jacob Jacob Jacob, Jacob loved his "torners" and pillow case. It didn't need a pillow in it and soon we realized that it was the cool sheet feel on his face and he loved to rub the corner over his hand. When he was sick or in the hospital for different things, Brian (who hated the pillow case and corner thing) would say Jacob do you want your pillow case. I also remember Mamos rubbing a corner over his hand until he fell asleep one time when he was really sick. I think my older two kids got sick more often as babies than my younger two.

So sweet! I like how each child is so different in their needs for comfort. I love Cha-Cha's toes. That girl is a future gymnast:)
Charlee's a doll. Braydee still doesn't notice her feet. She always wants to be on them.
