Blind Spot

What is a blind spot... By definition it is ...
1. an area where vision is hindered or obscured
2. a prejudice, or area of ignorance, that one has but is often unaware of

Take your pick! Leave a comment, here is my story!

Place your middle finger of your right hand starting at the first joint, between your eyes. Your finger is now on the bridge of your nose horizontally. Lay your pointer finger right above your middle, while lifting your middle finger put a slight pressure on your pointer and rotate counter clockwise, pulling your other fingers up and out of sight, with continuous slight pressure on your pointer finger. You will no long be able to see your finger that is .......... that is if you did it right and your hands and forehead are the same shape as mine.

Back to my point. I have a indentation right in that very spot. From???? What you say? From a blind spot.

Imagine the speed and force behind one body bending over in half to pick something off the ground. Then times it by 10, due to the fact that on the first attempt of picking up that something, some objects remain on the ground that you know you had in your hand. Again times by an additional 10, due to the frustration of being a mother/wife who is picking up dirty laundry that is on the floor right by the laundry basket. NOTE: BY not IN the laundry basket. Another 5 times the speed for the object being on the bathroom floor, and another 15 for it being Brian's socks. I hate hate hate dirty socks and underwear... they should not be touched by the human hand after they are removed from the body. On a side note I must pick up 15 pairs of dirty underwear a day! BOYS!

Well on the second attempt of picking up Brian's socks I hit my head on the corner of our solid Cherry dresser behind the bathroom door. I actually got the sock but then found myself on the floor with a sharp pain between my eyes. I reached up to feel the blood gushing out of my head......... but nothing was there but a dent. I got up whimpering a bit and looked in the mirror. I had a arrow head shaped point in the middle of my forehead. It is still tender and well lets just say I HAVE A BLIND SPOT. I know what you are thinking, blind spot, the dresser must be huge how can you not see a dresser. I have no answer for that just that I didn't see it, my excuse blind spot.
