I am starting her early on the treadmill, I know I know it is way to early, but I want her to be happy and healthy. Charlee still has not fully rolled over, she will not put weight on her feet unless she is mad, and yes she is on the treadmill. I know that I have mentioned these facts before but I feel that with how fast babies change I would mention again that "there is no change in her progress to walking before the age of one!"
Evenings are Charlee's fussy time. Well except for busy run around days like today, then all day is her fussy time. Her normal nap schedule gets all messed up when I drag her in and out of cars, doctors offices, and schools. Over all she is a good baby, she just gets so tired and with 5 poopy diapers today she did not get much rest!
I have decided that the evening is a nice time for me to get on the treadmill. Since I get on right before bed, I am not worried about getting too tired to keep up with the kids or the house. I am not worried about the kids needing something right as I start, because they are in bed. Last I am not worried, this is important because I am always worried about something, or someone.
Charlee, as I have posted before is a night owl. She likes to stay up late, usually she is okay to randomly move from stationary toy to stationary toy until around 11 pm when she starts to rub her eyes and I give her a bottle and put her to bed. NOT TONIGHT, she was not having anything to do with the saucer, swing, bouncy seat, walker, etc... so I decide to take my friend Kimba's advice and get my front pack and just strap her on. It worked great, she loved it. I got on the treadmill and her little legs were moving faster than mine. She giggled, kicked, reached, pushed, scratched, you name it she tried to do it. Did I mention she is heavy. I think I will adjust my front pack a little different next time because my back is sore from her twenty pound self resting on my chest and neck!
I did enjoy having her close to me while she was being so happy! It was fun to play treadmill with her.

What a fun post to read! That one-on-one time is so fun when you're baby is happy. I know I have a ton of one-on-one time with Jas, but when I was babysitting I got a little taste of what it's like to split up my time with more than one (and one husband). Thanks for sharing.
My back is not nearly strong enough to pack around Braydee while I walk on the treadmill. Good for you! Lucky for me, all my kids are in bed by 8:30 and when Braydee isn't sick, she sleeps like a log and loves to go to bed. Hope that gets better for you.
