Brian called me as I walked in the door from Church today. It was 12:09 pm and he said pick me up at the airport in 10 minutes. I hurried and put the kids back in the car and we drove to the Heber Airport to pick up Brian. I asked him on the phone "why he was home?" He said "long story, I will tell you when you pick me up."
Brian flew over us as we were driving and when we got there we gave him a ride around to open the hanger, and he put the plane away. I reminded him that he was suppose to teach the lesson today in Priesthood and let him know that I had told Brother Balls he would not be at chruch. He then told me that when he had stopped in Montana to clear customs and get some fuel he received a message from Steve saying, "I want to fly again Sunday morning." He figured there would be no way to come home to Heber, and make it back up to Canada to fly in time with Steve. He decided to stay in Montana and wake up early in the morning and fly back up to Canada. That is when he called me around 4:15 PM yesterday to tell me that he was not going to make it home, but that he had tried. So Sunday morning Brian was at the plane (in Montana) when he spoke to Steve... "Oh, did I say Sunday? I meant Monday I want to fly again."
It is now Sunday morning and Brian is in Montana, 4 hours away from the Heber Airport, I would assume that he would just stay up in Montana, he is flying the next morning. I would have stayed. Nope not Brian he flew home, we pulled in the driveway around 12:45 and he played with the kids, ate dinner and lunch with us. He even was able to read the Hardy Boys.
Then this morning I took him back to the airport around 7:45 AM so he could fly another 5 or so hours up to pick up Steve then fly Steve another 4-5 hours to his home, then fly another 2-3 hours home tonight so he can be home and read, you guest it, Hardy Boys with his BOYS!
It is all what you make of it!
On Saturday a Woman woke up to find she only had 3 hairs on her head. She looked in the mirror and decided that "today I am going to wear my hair in a braid." She did and it was a good day. Sunday morning came and she got up to get ready for church. As she looked in the mirror she noticed she only had two hairs on her head. She fixed her hair in pig tails for Church and had a great day. The Sun came up Monday morning and as this woman woke up and looked in the mirror she only had one hair left on her head. She said, "I think I will wear my hair in a pony tail to work today." She did and she had a good day. Tuesday morning came quicker than expected and as this women walked into her bathroom she glanced in a mirror. She realized that she had no hair on her head. She turned around and walked away from the mirror and exclaimed, "alright! I don't have to fix my hair today."
Prospective, it is all the way you look at it. I hope I can look for the good in my daily trials and activities. Then I too will all have a good day!

Tell Brian thanks for trying to make it work on Sat. It's never the same with out him. I liked how you said Matt was Kind enough to watch the kids and let Rachel go out as your date, lol. He should have so been there with his wife and you (lol), but oh well. I told him at church that one of these days I will figure him out on how he can camp with us for two days but can't sit in silence at a table for an hour once a year. He gave me a dead look. Dinner was so fun though. We need to make an effort to go out more couple wise. The “B’s” (can’t spell their name) we so nice and I haven’t picked up iodine salt since then. Now it will never be the same! Hope Jacob fills better soon. I agree with V-day being so close to other holidays. Too much money:)
It is true, it's all how you look at it. I am a pesemist. (however you spell it) I'm always looking at the down side. Brad calls me Eeyore.
