Over all update

On Jacks birthday we took Charlee into have her billi checked and she came back extremely high at 20.5. Under the lights she went, she was under the lights for another 3 more days and we were able to take her out and send that suit case back.

Charlee would wake me up screaming, when I got to her she had tried to root on the plastic casing around the suit case and her mouth was stuck up under it! This happened a few times. I HATE THE SUIT CASE. They didn't bring us anything to cover her eyes so I put some 2 x 2 gauze squares under one of her headbands to help cover her eyes. We asked them to bring some eye coverings and they said they had no one coming up this way so he would overnight them. They came the last day and we were only able to use them for a short time. They worked so much better than the shield that we were suppose to use. The shield would end up behind her head, she is very active with her hands, or it would end up covering all of her body! Needless to say the shield didn't work.

She has since had her two week visit and she is almost up to her birth weight. Charlee is now 20 1/2" long and 6 lbs 11 oz.

Jack Jack has missed momma! I can't pick him up but I have been able to nuggle him a bit. The first time I saw him he said, "Momma are you all better?" He told my mom the other day, "I miss my Aiden and my Momma." Jack has been so good these past couple weeks. The day that Brian got home from his last trip he took us all out to eat. The boys were so well behaved and I was thankful that my Mom and Dad were there to help us out. Jack ate an entire bowl of bean dip and chips.

He can ride his two wheeler and is starting to learn how to stop and get it started. A few more practice runs with daddy and he will have it. I would have video of it but again that is the last time we used the camera and I think it may be gone forever! Jack Jack has also been sleeping with "the boys." We tried to put his bed back in his room when the lights for Charlee came out and he said "No, I want to sleep with the boys!" He is so big! I forgot how grown up he was he was always my baby!

Aiden is Aiden. Aiden likes to push buttons, drop things, kick things, and jump onto things just to see what will happen. He has hit Charlee on the head once and we asked him why, he said "I don't know." I think he learned that we don't do that.

He loves to hold her and does it as much as he is allowed. He brought her into me one time and said she was hungry. It scared me half to death seeing him hold her while he was standing over the kitchen tile. I quickly but calmly said thank you and then we had a talk about not standing up with the baby. Another time while getting Jack Jack ready for bed, Aiden was ready and asked my mom if he could hold the baby. She said sure and then went upstairs. Soon we heard "Mamos, Mamos" Mamos went to Aiden to see what he needed. He said very sleepily, "I am falling asleep and I don't want to drop her, will you come and get her." He was so careful and so nervous that he was falling asleep. What good big brothers Charlee has.

Jacob loves to hold her too. He wants to always feed her and that is hard because I am breast feeding her. He has had a couple opportunities to feed her and he is so funny about his instructions to others who might be trying to feed or give her a binky! He is the expert. Jacob's A1C came back a little higher than we would like to see and we have tried to keep records of what he eats. My mom has been great I on the other hand have not. I am not sure what I will be able to send to the Doctor. I might have to start over again. Jacob is excited for school and keeps telling people that he is going to be in trouble because he doesn't know how to read. We are trying to work with him but I have not done all that I should. I hope that my mom and dad continue to read and work with him. I am sure he will be fine. He did get some new shoes for school the other day in Logan with my mom. So now we only need backpacks and some pants with no holes in the knees for both him and Aiden. Aiden will also need new shoes. He will be excited to go and look he has been asking for new shoes for all summer.

This is my kind of roughing it! I thought Mosse Creek was great - but this is incredible. Brian will never want to rough it again. Jen, you'll need to go next time for sure. It's fun to see how the other half live!

I didn't relize all that you went through to get your sweet little girl here and still get to be her Momma. The Lord truely blesses and stands with us in our trials.

It's awesome that Jack is riding a two wheeler, Ray can't even attempt that yet.
