Moose Creek (part 1)

Steve and Brian decided to take these two cute boys, Aiden and Bennett camping for a week. Bennett and Aiden are only 2 weeks apart. This is the plane trip up to Moose Creek on the 15th of July 2008.
Brian took out the middle row of seats to make more room for the boys. They are in the P210, a pressurized Cessna that normally is a 6 seater.
Here is Steve with the boys in the back, Brian is taking the picture and Auto pilot is flying the plane I guess!

This was so fun to be able to take the boys on a fun trip. Moose Creek was pretty fun of people and Brian was not able to get a campsite with a table. Shortly after arriving in Moose Creek Brian set up camp and made steak and potato's with cream corn. It was a huge success with all the boys. I guess later at the fancy restaurant Bennett wanted cream corn... he really liked the cream corn.
Look at how lush and green everything is. That is a beautiful fern in front of my boys not weeds. Brian said that the plane looked a bit on the green side from taking off and landing at moose creek. I guess they had to plow through some tall grass.
Here is Steve doing a bit of fly fishing. Brian watched how to video's no stop for a couple days so he would be able to help tie knots and be the expert fishing guild. I guess they didn't have much luck at all, but the scenery was lovely.

For breakfast Bennett had requested bacon and peanut butter. I never asked Brian how it was, Steve I understand said it is really good. Brian also got a few pointers on cooking from me before he left so he could not only act as the fishing guide but also camp chef as well. They took off before lunch a flew up to Vancouver where they unloaded the camping gear. Then they flew over to Vancouver Island, where they got took about a 40 min boat ride to Clayoquot Wilderness Resort. After arriving at the resort they were loaded up into a stage coach and were taken to there "tents."
