Day 2 (part 4)

Every evening before bed Steve and Brian met with a "event planner" of sorts to plan out activities for the next day.

First up breakfast... Brian said every meal was served in courses. First would come the "best hot chocolate" garnished with chocolate chips and a large strawberry. Then they would order their "custom breakfast." Aiden ordered pancakes every morning and they were served with a side of syrup, grilled banana's on top and a large strawberry. Aiden loved the grilled banana's. Brian made me some the other night, I must admit they were really good.
So after breakfast on 18 July 2008 at 9:30 am they were all fitted with coats and life preservers for some fishing.
Aiden on the fishing boat!During this trip Brian came up with lots of new ways to trick the boys into doing what he wanted them to do. Brian called tomato soup "ketchup soup" Steve loved this and told the waitress to call it the same. Another classic Brian move was telling the boys that when they cried the tears were like ketchup to the bears. So out of fear the boys would stop crying. Again I worried how Steve would take this and Brian again said that Steve started using this as well to get the boys to behave. MEN!
Both boys got along as good as 4 year olds can. I was really proud of Aiden for trying everything...
...Aiden casted his line out and hooked this fish all by himself.

Look... what a proud face!Steve and Brian caught some large salmon.

They also fed the eagles.

Back from fishing with a gourmet lunch in their bellies, it was time for some riding. A must with riding was a helmet and some cowboy boots. Aiden never wanted to take the cowboy boots off, he loved them.

This is were they meet up with Lisa and Camille who are the guides for the horseback riding. They couldn't find a helmet for Brian even if the adults were asked to wear one because Camille kept making his "head swell."With comments like "Aiden you are sooo cute... you look just like your daddy."

And on the last day of riding the manager came out and said "oh I know who like you the best," referring to Brian. "You are on the best horse we have here and he (Steve) is on the horse that has the roughest ride."Aiden asked Camille, "how do you tell a boy horse from a girl horse?" She turned to Brian and said, "you should ask your daddy that question." Brian looked right back at her and said, "he asked you not me."

Notice who is almost cut out of this picture completely and who is pretty much centered. There was no mistaking it, they all liked Camille.

Like the night before, they ended the day with dinner a massage, and another trip to the hot tub. Brian said for dinner they would all order and then for example they would say, "I will have the lobster, Aiden wants the crab, etc... and lets have a extra plate of lobster. Aiden and Bennett both thought the Sorbet between dishes was the greatest. Aiden has asked for Sorbet from me and also a few other items.

To be cont... (day 3 and Part 5)

Wow! I don't know if you are ever going to be able to top this vacation for Aiden. It looks like he had a lot of fun!

I can so hear Brian say "he asked you not me" to the horse lady, i can so hear that!!!

The ketchup tears is a horrible trick, but I may resort to trying that once Kendal understands it all. She loves ketchup and it is really hard reasoning with that girl!
