Ok, I found this picture while looking in my high school pictures....
This is a picture of feller (the cat), me and my brother in Virginia, he was always either red (sun burned) or white. I on the other hand was constantly told by my parents that I was adopted from an Indian tribe. I would get so dark. Another informational tip about me is that I never wore jeans. I only wore slacks and shorts. I think the first pair of jeans or any jean material I owned was maybe my freshman year. I am wearing a lovely soft purple shirt and shorts, with velvet sleeves and if I remember right a purple cat on the front of it. I believe I had this in a few colors!!!This is the house that I remember trying to sing the "I'm Chip" song. I loved Virginia, it never really got that cold. I remember it snowed once, 1/2 " or so and everything closed down, the roads were a mess. I don't think it was even enough for us to build a snowman.
What a shocker it was to move to Idaho, it seemed to snow more back in the mid to late 80's when we first moved here. We rarely had cancelled school in Idaho
Journal Note: I need to remember this is the season of love, family, and friends... I need to Pray for me, pray for my kids, pray for Brian, pray, pray, pray. I need to have more patients with my little ones. I think it is me, they just don't listen to me. Brian took the kids to Church by himself yesterday (all three) he said they were angels. I really don't understand why they will not behave for me. Brian said "the only thing that Aiden could have done better was fold his arms instead of holding the hymn book for the entire hour." Thank you boys for being so reverent in Church.

Today, we were trying to find Jacobs tester. I tested Jacob on the stairs and then told him to put it in his backpack. Jacob got distracted and either set it down or Jack took it!!!! I am thinking it was Jack!! I was getting stressed and upset, I finally sat down and started to cry. Jacob came over and said sorry momma and gave me a hug. I then knew that I needed to calm down and Jacob said a prayer for me and that we would find the tester. I had knelt down by the love seat, and when I looked up at the end of the prayer, it was under the rocker recliner. WE were not late, Aiden caught the bus, I got Jacob to school on time with all his things... I need to remember to pray sooner.

During all of this, Jack Jack the Single 0 agent Spy (because you "actually" have to kill someone to be a 00 double 0 Agent) was again practicing his stubborn, "I am not giving in" technique, I was trying to get him dressed. That is all just put pants on him... I again do not know how to even try and explain Jack's torture resistant stubborn mind.
Side note: in the picture this is Jacob's way of trying the cute side tilt, that Kelsey and Amanda have down to a science.

Before I even read your writing I thought to myself "Dang, that girl can hold a tan!" Look at those legs, especially next to your brothers milky whiteness!!
Thanks for the prayer reminder. Sorry you were stressed out, so sorry.
Just a thought. It probably wasn't that the boys were angels, it might be that men are just... (how to say this nicely) a little more numb than we are. The little things that drive us crazy, they ignore. Don't sweat the small stuff (when I can do that, or not do that, I'll let ya know!) Men don't
Jenn, your brother and my husband's legs match. I thought lyn was the only one with transparent legs glad to know he is not alone!
I think mindy is right, Men do tend to ignore noisy behaver in children! I know the men in my life do.
Rachel, you can back me up on this one if you want. My husband doesn't put up with noisey. The boys were angels at church, really. I have lost control of the situation with my sons and I need to get it back.
Maybe I need to grow a foot or two... get some stragely chest hair, chop my hair and pray it goes gray and coarse like Brians...
hee hee hee
Mindy, my husband is really good looking, I promise. I can't imagine what you are visioning right now after my description. Thanks for your post, I will work on "don't sweat the small stuff" I need that. Keep me posted on how it is working for you. :) We can do it TOGETHER!
TAN TAN TAN....Not fare!
