Tornado

Aiden, a cool air mass above or a cumulonimbus cloud or rain cloud (whiner)
+ Jack, a warm air mass updraft from below that turns as it rises forming a vortex (hot temper)
+ Jacob, the vortex reaches the ground (teaser, or one who steps in without knowing the consequences of his actions)
= Tornado
Nothing is spared, not even the best built home could stand strong against this twister of destruction.
We ventured out of the house today. Nathan invited myself and the twister of boys over to decorate cookies. Nathan is in Aiden's pre-school class and was in pre-school with Jacob and Aiden last year. As we walked in I had the boys remove their shoes and coats, they then proceeded Nathan's room. Within seconds each boy had a gun along with a knife. This nice peaceful house was no more. Soon other guest arrived, Thomas, William, Lydia, Brooklyn, and Mitchell. I have never seen so many things scattered across the floor so fast in all of my life. The tornado was unlike any that I had ever seen.

Due to so much destruction in such a short time I think Michelle had no other choice but to have the kids come and decorate cookies. Jack decided he would rather play but everyone else received their own frosting and two cookies. Each mom brought some candy/sprinkles for the decoration on top of the cookies. Aiden dumped a full bottle of sprinkles onto his cookie. Poor sweet Aiden, he didn't realize that everything was going to come out as fast and made a large pile on his plate. He quietly started to pick up the sprinkles and put them back into the jar. I couldn't believe that he was so embarrassed. I kept telling him it was ok, but he looked at me like he had just destroyed a small town all by himself. He told Michelle he was sorry and she helped him put back the excess sprinkles into a bowl. This activity lasted about 3 min. and then they were all off again. For the most part the boys played well with the boys. Jack took a toy knife to Lydia's throat. Amanda said, as poor Lydia was crying, "she is just sensitive." Jack then of course had the knife taken away and the vortex began to spin.

The amazing thing is that I was able to put shoes on the vortex and physically carry it out to the car with out any permanent damage to myself. I was glad to make the other moms feel a little more normal. Jacob was so cute, he wanted to help with the vortex and he himself was almost destroyed. He soon made a wise choice and said momma I will bring the cookies out to the car for you. Once at home the vortex calmed down and was again my sweet little Jack Jack. I then helped Jacob get ready for school, Jacob ate a ham sandwich and Aiden, Jack and I all had tuna on toast with cheese and pickles. Aiden drank the pickle juice (thanks Brian) and we took Jacob to school. When we got home after about a 1/2 hour Jack and Aiden both fell asleep and I had a nice hour.

After I picked Jacob up from school I ran down to Amanda's to get something really cool from her and spotted Micheal Poloncic trying to help a boy up that must have fallen down while walking home from school. I ran over to see if I could help and offered him a ride. He said yes... I am a stranger, that always makes me so nervous. I took him home and asked if someone would be there. He started into a long story about real mom and step dad etc... half of which I blocked out of my head. He was such a Shelia... I am not being cold he was a SHELIA. I was sweet, nice, tender, sympathetic, and even a little mushy, I figured he was over playing it, I could too. Never the less it was so nice of Michael to try and help him. Gold star to Michael Poloncic, the little good Samaritan.
Aiden then got to go birthday shopping with Grams (Brian's Mom). He of course picked out two guns and they finished off the birthday shopping adventure with a strawberry shake. I asked Aiden if he thanked Grams for the guns, "he said no I did thank her, but not for the guns." He was so cute he wanted to make sure he got stuff to share with Jacob. Grams had to buy two shakes because he had to get one for Jacob. They sure do love each other, it warms the heart. Thanks Mom, Aiden had a enjoyable time with you, he was really excited to go and do things with you. Thanks again GRAMS!

Tornado is such a great way to explain children three years old and under. They are out to discover and destroy!
BTW...Glad to hear you got your Rokenbok! I hope you enjoy! Just beware that there are plenty of parts for the tornado to scatter!

Krista, as per Rob's recommendation I also have two extra set of rokenbok balls for the vortex to draw up into the air and whip violently into many directions.
