School Help

On Tuesday's I help in Jacob's 2nd grade class from 9 - 10 and in Aiden's Kindergarten class from 10 - 11. Aiden and Jack love Tuesday's because they get to ride home with me instead of on the bus. Aiden just spoke to "cowboy way" who was Aiden's bus driver, Aiden misses Cowboy way!
Today in Aiden's class I read the children a story and then we colored it. After we colored it they were suppose to try and put the story back together in the right order.

I didn't remember the story well enough to put it back in order, each page only had a couple words on it so we cheated and looked at the page numbers ; ). Nice help.

In Jacob's Class I gave each child a paper with a picture on it. I then read instructions to the children two times, they were to follow my instructions on their paper without any help or repeats! Things like "color lizzy's hair bow pink and Sam's bow tie orange!"

At the end I met with Jacob's teacher about how he is doing in class. He is struggling with getting his work done and not playing...we are going to work on that. His reading, math, and spelling are well above his grade level, and we hope to help him improve on staying on task.

O my goodness. Jacob is a heartbreaker already. Look at how handsome he is! In that picture with all the kids in his class, I can't help but notice he is the cutest one. :) And there are some cute kids in his class.
Sounds like fun to help in class. What do you do with Charlee when you go?

I wish I could be involved in Austin's class. They won't let you bring young children with you and that takes me out of the running. I always have 2 little girls on my tail.
