Pumpkins

Brian and the boys carved our pumpkin (1) this morning, then I roasted the seeds. This was a first time for me (roasting the seeds at least) and "boy they are good." Brian is the carver, I like the "push in" faces!
We made these, I thought they looked a little like "swine flu"... and since the kids are sick and won't be able to go trick or treating, it seemed a little more appropriate. I bought these a few years ago for a Halloween party... best purchase ever!
Brian had another helicopter lesson today, sounds like he is doing really well. Comments from his instructor, like "that was perfection" and from Brian himself "I finally controlled the helicopter without needing to concentrate so much." Make it sound like he is doing very well with his lessons.
Here are each of the boys pumpkins and also Daddy's "scream" pumpkin! I took this picture (Nov. 5 so it looks a little "old")
Here are the boys with their pumpkin faces. Both Jack and Jacob had a face on either side of their pumpkin... they did turn out fun! We grew all of these mini pumpkins in our yard this year!

I love the push in faces! I need to find more for next year so that they have a variety and can make them mixed up and fun.
