KSL... WHAT A RUSH!

I have waited for 7 years for Brian to put our J3 kitten (airplane) for sale. It has never happened, so conference weekend I decided I would do my best and apologize for any mistakes. I typed an ad the best I could with my limited knowledge of our kit plane. Calls and emails began almost instantly, asking questions I didn't quite know how to answer. I did the best I could and then I realized it was time to inform Brian of what I had for sale! Brian seemed to be fine with my decision and soon he was returning emails and handling all the calls. Brian decided to take our first offer, although we have had many other calls since with interested people that I had to turn away. Airplane SOLD and picked up today!

Brian had made plans to fix up the hot tub he bought before we moved into this house. After moving in we found that the hot tub was not as promised and had a lot of work that needed to be done. Brian put money into fixing the leaks then realized that more needed to be done. I wanted him to take it back and let us start over again. He refused to take it back, telling me that this was a good deal. Long story short, he took the hot tub back to the previous owner (who knew it was coming back) today and picked up our new hot tub. I am not sure that we will ever get paid for the hot tub we took back but I am glad to be rid of it. Maybe I need to put that for sale on KSL.

I heard Brian tell Ryan the exact reason I had given him for not wanting to keep the old hot tub. To fix the old hot tub would be $800 minimum and then more for any other unknown problems.

For some reason I thought because I put the effort into selling the airplane I would get some say in how the money was spent. I am happy with our new hot tub, however Brian can't get it working. It worked before we picked it up... maybe we have bad luck.

I told Brian today that next is the boat sitting in the airport hanger! We don't need two boats, especially one that doesn't work. He told me that he doesn't want to fix it because he knows I will make him sell it!

HOW DOES THAT MAKE SENSE? Only on Mars!
