Both Aiden and Jacob enjoyed having Sister Budd as a Sunbeam teacher. So much that one of our fish became Sister Budd. Aiden named one of our many fish Sister Budd and he loves Sister Budd. When we took out all the furniture for our new carpet, we decided that we didn't want a 40 Gal fish tank any longer. I had tried to get rid of the fish but no one seemed to need any more fish. We had, notice had really nice fish and we had around 15 - 20. I didn't know what to do with them, I was kind of attached and didn't want to kill them.
Suzanne (AKA mom) had another view and was not attached to them and thought it be best to put them down the garbage disposal. After sick thoughts and gagging for a bit, Brian said he would take care of it.
Brian gave them the 10 flush salute and we didn't tell the kids. oooops! Aiden came in, where are the fish?
Me: "Daddy flushed them down the toilet."
Daddy: "Thanks Jenny"
Aiden and Jacob: "why"
We came up with some great reasons and I haven't heard about it again, until the other day!
Aiden: "What happened to sister Budd?"
Me: "Nothing, why."
Aiden: "Did she Die?"
Me: "No, we saw her at church!"
Aiden: "No my fish, the pretty one, Sister Budd."
Me: "oh"
I have since given my friend Amanda a hard time about her new name for their new dog! PEPPER!
Who names a dog pepper... Well I guess I just like to give her a hard time.
Anything is better than naming a pet after your favorite teacher, then Daddy flushing the favorite teacher/pet down the toilet. Garbage disposal would have been way worse!

SO sad! That's funny how honest you were:) I Blame Mark on "Pepper"! After he did his homework on the new dog and found out how cool she was he wanted to change her name late last night to "Ossie". I flipped out and said NO. He going to traumatize that dog...and his kids.
Okay, I have a negative in the compassion to animals area but the disposal!!!
You could have brought them, including sister Budd, over here and I would have them dead in 4 days, humanely and naturally. I can't keep fish, I guess I have only tried twice but still, I could have taken care of those poor little creatures that you DUMPED!
