"Super Slide"

On Fathers Day the boys got up early and gave Brian each a gift. I was extremely proud of the gifts that were given and thought that I had done a terrific job.
This is the conversation on the Thursday before Fathers day,
Me: "What do you want for Fathers day?"
Brian: "To be home with my family."
Me: "Really, I was going to get you that Green Machine but I didn't know if you were serious."
Brian: "I really thought you would have already bought it for me."
Thank goodness for Father and Sons. Friday after the boys all left, Fathers Day shopping I did GO!
Out of the three gifts that were given to Brian, the Green Machine is the only one that has been opened and put together and tested out! I have pictures and as soon as I get our Camera back from down at Dad's house in SLC I will post some of Brian maxing out the weight limit on the Green Machine.
Back to Fathers Day. While getting ready for Church I was hinting (hinting never works) to Brian for a good job or a thanks or I really like my presents. Instead this is what I got:
Brian: "Boys, since momma didn't get me anything for Fathers day I want her to call me 'Super Slide' all day long!"
Me: "Brian..."
Brian AKA Super Slide: "I think you meant 'Super Slide.'" I love the look on his face in this picture!

So for Fathers day, all because I hinted around for a good job Jenn, I instead referred to my husband as 'super slide.'

Side note: I did notice that when I said "super slide" he answered. Normally he can't hear me or the kids "must have been too loud." So referring to him as "super slide" worked out well when I needed something done.

On another note: During another conversation while asking Brian what I should get him for Fathers Day. We were sitting at the dinner table and Brian was eating lunch, he said that all he really wanted was to not have to get up and get more milk. He only wanted a glass of milk, this Fathers day could go on and on! He did, well I got me for him a weed eater (Aidens gift) and Jack gave him the movie John Adams!

Okay...two questions:
1. What is a green machine?

2. Why super slide?

I did a post a while back on the Green machine. Rob probably had one as a 8-10 year old. It is like a big wheel only with two lever's that steer it like a tank from the rear. You can make it slide 180, such a boy/man thing. On the side of the box it says "with super slide action!" Hence the name super slide for my super slide husband, who maxed out the over 5 years and 180 lbs limit also on the side of the box.
