Killer Whale

So the boys were driving me crazy inside and all I wanted to do was go lay down. I had them get a jacket on and planned on sending them outside when the doorbell rang. Michael and his friend Stanley came over to see if the boys wanted to play!!! YES.. out in the back they went for about 30 min and then I think these 11 year olds realized that my kids are silly and little.
I went out back after cleaning up the mess Aiden made in the bathroom and Jacob, who was in the tree (thanks Kelsey for teaching my children dangerous things j/k), said that they had left.
He then told me that they were going for a bike ride and that he had asked if he could come. Michael replied with, we are going very far away, maybe tomorrow. Mom knows how to translate, that means I will see you in a week or so.
So much for resting, I asked the boys if they wanted to go for a ride and off we went. We rode around the neighborhood for a bit then I decided that we should go to the Church parking lot. While riding around the park I hurried and came home to make sure that everything was ok and when I came out Micheal and Stanley were there. What do you know, they wanted to come with us.
Side Note: I am such a cool mom!!!
We went a different way and now I know where "Miss" Sally lives! We rode around the Church for a long time, had races and jumping contests. It was fun! Then Jacob decided to climb one of the huge piles of snow in the back parking lot.
me: "that looks like an ice-burg. Lets play I am a shark and you have to stay on the ice burgs or I will eat you."
Jacob: "ok"
Me: after riding around on my bike a bit and trying to catch all these boys, "maybe you are all seals and I am a 'huge' killer whale."
Michael had to test his luck and I caught him. I was impressed with myself, I attacked him like a true killer whale. I picked him up by his coat and his leg, after I chased him to the ground/water(pretend), made violet chewing noises and he became a shark/killer whale with me.
I had fun, I think the boys did too. I left and they stayed a bit longer then came back too.
I feel much better and really want to go lay down now.

I am always hungry, I can't ever think of what I want to eat! Well maybe Wendy's fried rice, but she doesn't have a recipe. Anyway, I came up with a late night masterpiece! Please don't try this at home.

1/2 bag wacky Mac multicolor noodles (Hot)
1/2 cube of butter (ok I didn't put that much butter on)
1/8 Cup hidden Valley Cole slaw dressing
shredded Parmesan and Romano cheese
a bit of brown spicy mustard

mix and eat! I am weird but it was good!

I saw you guys riding yesterday...I have been trying to get rid of Tyler's training whells and I said, "Look - there's Jacob and Aidan. Look how much fun they are having without their training wheels." Tyler was not convinced. Now I have made him not want to ride a bike at all...
Fried rice. The secret is to make a prok tenderloin (roast or whatever the day before. I usually make one on Sunday and season with lemon, garlic and rosemary. So you have Sunday dinner, then on Monday. I make white rice in rice cooker.
Get a big pot -
Saute about 1 c chopped onion
add 1 c frozen peas and carrots
1 c frozen corn - cook until onion starts to get soft. Chop up the leftover pork into bitesize pieces and add to pot. Add 3 scrambled eggs. I cook them in the microwave, or you can just move everything over to the side in the pan and cook them right in there.
Add about 4-5 cups cooked rice. Then add soy sauce to taste. Just do a little first, a couple tablespoons, maybe. All the rice should be brown, but too much soy sauce makes it really salty.
I have to eat my fried rice with sliced bananas. You can ask Jen Bosshardt why.

By the way, that should be pork tenderloin. I am not sure what a prok is.

Still me...I'm glad you made the lettuce wraps. I never realized how much Asian stuff I cook. Anyway, try out the rice sometime or else just wait for me to bring it again!
