I am growing a vagina in my uterus

Brian gave in and wanted to find out what we were having... about half way through the Ultra sound, Brian said "you can find out if you want to." At that point I didn't know what to do, I wanted to find out but I didn't want him to make it only my decision.
I think he figured he hadn't seen a tally whacker yet, so he figured he had a chance for his little girl. It was too much to take, he had to know. But he couldn't say he wanted to know.
She would move the probe thing all around and Brian would say, "oh there it is, it's a boy." She would say "that is the umbilical cord." A bit later she would say here is the bladder and Brian would say, "it is a boy, I see it." Then she would say that is your wife's (very full mind you) bladder." She told us she hadn't looked yet and that is when Brian said it was ok to find out.

She showed Brian and I that it is a girl and he immediately asked, "well can you tell who the father is?" That is Brian for you!

As little tears started to come to the corner of his eyes, he leaned down to Jack Jack and told him that he was going to have a baby sister and that it was nice that Jack Jack loves "airplanes" but now daddy would have his little girl. POOR BOYS!

I AM SO EXCITED FOR YOU! Maybe we should go out to dinner this month just to celebrate! I'm serious about picking a date for the shower. It would be a good excuse to get together. and we can have in my big family room!

Congrats Jen! That is so exciting! Girls are so much fun to dress! I bet your boys are so excited to have a little sister to protect. She will be one tough cookie with those older brothers teaching her the way of life!

That's a super cute picture of the boys.
That's so sweet about Brian's tears.

By the way, I had to read the title of this Post like 10 times to figure out what the heck you were saying. It would have helped to continue on and read the post.

Aiden is in a copy phase so he looked at Jacob to see how he was smiling and did the same! I love this picture of my BOYS! Thanks mom, I love you too! Pink pink pink, Kendra - Aunt Linda told me about what you said after your ultra sound so I actually did a bit of a copy! You are so cool!!!

The first thing I thought of when I looked at the picture was "did Aiden ask how Jacob was going to smile?" Jack is his own little self, with the best smile in the world, no worries for him.
