I caught a leprechaun!

Jacob told me the other day that he doesn't believe in Saint Patricks day, neither do I, I said. Jacob then told me,

"I really wanted that pot of gold and I am never going to get it!" and that was the end of the conversation. I felt really bad, because he had came home from school and mentioned that "if he had known it was St. Patricks day he would have wore Green!"

Bad mama, I felt really bad and asked him if he had been pinched. He looked at me like, you knew they would pinch me but you didn't have me wear green. He said that everyone pinched him. Didn't Mrs. Wade have anything green to put on you, he said no! I guess he really got it at recess.

Rachel told me the next day that Kelsey had built a leprechaun trap and put it in her Laundry room because Jacob had "caught" a leprechaun and she wanted to catch one too.I asked Jacob about this and he told me he caught one at recess and he gave it to a teacher so she could show it in her class. I told him there is no such things as Leprechauns and he said, he thought so, "I just really wanted his pot of Gold mama."

Well I think that we have been given some pretty strange good luck lately. I noticed something odd with my outside freezer around this same time. I shrugged it off and didn't worry about it until, I noticed everything in the door was thawed out! The GFI had popped and the freezer was no longer running. It must have been out we figure for almost 2 weeks. I just thought the light didn't work! Luckily it was so cold still that nothing was ruined and Brian found the GFI under the stairs (I need him to show me where that is?)

Then just yesterday I decided to clean out the fish tank and took out the huge center rock decoration. I put it in the tub and then forgot about it. I fed the fish before the boys went to bed and noticed one of the large cat fish was gone. I thought about it hiding in that big rock and was not excited to go and look in the bath tub. Sure enough as I went to pick up the Rock the Cat fish, who I didn't know could make such a noise, started squealing! I hurried and took it to the water and stuck it in and sure enough the cat fish swam out! 7 hours in a little pool of water trapped in a large Rock! FUN!
