Easter

Again I wanted to post a bit about Easter. These are all the cups that had the colored eggs in them. I found out the kids really like to eat boiled eggs, so I thought maybe I should boil another dozen. I over boiled them and I think only 4 were not cracked. But we had some great egg salad.













I made the boys go get into old clothes.... they chose Jammies, and boxers!




















Aiden was so excited, (not shown in picture) that the Easter bunny had left a egg by his pillow and he didn't even wake up.









The Easter bunny came and left lots of fun soccer stuff, matching prophet games, art supplies, and a bit of Candy! He also left a few things for Cousin Leslie.














These shirts Jacob and Aiden have on were also given to them by the Easter bunny. Jacob loved the note that the Easter bunny left on the shirt and asked my Dad to read it. Instead of my Dad saying that it wasn't a note from the Easter Bunny it was a tag, he said it read "have a very special Easter Jacob, from the Easter Bunny." Then he realized that wasn't going to work so he changed his mind and told him that it didn't say that.... Aiden is still wearing his special note. A couple days later when the boy's shirts were in the dirty clothes, Aiden found another shirt like his in the closet and wanted to wear it. I said that wasn't his, knowing this because of the size (I had bought a shirt just like the Easter bunny's but it was a size bigger). He said "yes it is, look it has the note from the Easter Bunny on it." I don't remember how I got out of that one, but everything seemed to work out okay.
