"14 shirts"

I feel like I could have my own movie, instead of 27 dresses, I will have 14 shirts be the title....

Yesterday as I finished laundry that I didn't get done on my "Laundry Tuesday," I felt like I had finally caught up. I had everything pretty well washed and put away, Brian had packed and was leaving soon, then Aiden woke up.

Aiden woke up in the morning, put on a shirt for gymnastics and then went down to eat breakfast. He spilled milk all down the front of his shirt and so we went and put on a different shirt. I got the boys ready fast shovelled some breakfast into them then headed off to story time at the Library with Miss Sally. It was a Easter special day and Jacob was all over the place and I finally left the library with out him, he came out slowly like nothing had happened and climbed into the car.

We drove to drop off Aiden at Gym and he decided to take off the his shirt he had to wear to the library (something other than a gym shirt) and use it as a chocolate candy wipe off face towel. At gymnastics he only had on his wrestling T-shirt and we went to pick him up around 12 noon. We had taken Daddy some lunch at the airport before he took off and picked up Aiden a Hamburger with Catchup only. He spilled the catchup on his coat, took off his coat and somehow got the gum that he was given as a gym treat on his wrestling t-shirt. At home I hurried and grabbed him another shirt and decided that we were too late for the bus and I would just take him to school.

I picked up Kelsey and dropped off her and Jacob, then ran Aiden to school. Jack Jack asked to go night night so we headed home. Jack Jack went to bed and I vacuumed out the car and tried to get a bit of snow to melt by pushing it onto the driveway and sidewalk. I went to get Aiden off the bus at 2:42 because it is early out day and we came home. He grabbed the scooter and went down the driveway, right into the melted mud puddles that are all around because my neighbor has no cement only dirt. Mud and dirt got flipped up onto the back of his shirt, so he went inside and changed. When he came out again in "another" shirt, we layed on our driveway for a bit enjoying the sun, until he heard the neighbor girls out and about. He rode over to Murdock's and while playing with the girls, Maci opened up a metal door and hit Aiden in the face hard. He came over with blood all over his shirt, hands and face. In we went, I took off his shirt and he put on another.

Soon it was time for swimming lessons. He went upstairs and got into his swimming suit and came down with a different shirt on. At swimming lessons, I guess he forgot and ran and jumped in with his shirt on and got it all wet. We came home put him in the shower and got him ready for bed. We ate spaghetti and of coarse had to change PJ shirt again.

I will never catch up with Aiden's Laundry.

So funny...when it is not you! My kids are muddy every day in the spring. They even have their "muddy boots" which are just their winter boots, but then I don't have to wash shoes every day. Those bad laundry days take everything out of you. Just think, soon you will have cute little girl laundry to add to your pile :).
