I started this quilt last year with a couple friends. This is a buggy barn pattern, "crazy among friends." We each took different blocks from this pattern and made enough of the same block for the other two people in our group. Then we got together and exchanged the blocks. Rachel, Natalia, and I did this together and it was a great time. It pieced together quick and I enjoyed it very much.
I put the top together before Christmas and then just let it sit, I was not sure what to do for a border. I finally decided to put a piano key border around it for starters as pictured above.
In quilt guild this year I signed up for a "finishing" bee challenge. We were to write down 10 different projects numbered 1-10. Each month a new number is drawn out of a hat and that number is the project we are to finish that month. Well February's number was this quilt and my goal was to add borders and get it quilted. I added two borders and then sent it off to my friend Natalia to have her quilt it for me. I will post another picture soon.
It turned out beautiful.

I do love the quilt! I have a couple of things that I need to finish as well. I wish that we lived closer so we could get together and do our projects.
