Jack feeds off of Jacob's silly "roughness." They often run around the house, I think trying to hurt each other. Seeing who can take it the farthest, until someone gets hurt. Usually that someone who gets hurt is Jack, sometimes Aiden, rarely Jacob.
Tonight it was Jacob and he will have the scar on his beautiful face to prove it.
Jacob, Jack, and Aiden were running around the house throwing things at each other. Laughing and laughing, it continued even with me asking them to stop. Finally I convinced Jacob to go up stairs and get ready for bed, Jack followed and they both were still throwing things and laughing. Jack doesn't understand that throwing a ball at someone and hitting them, is different than throwing a toy at them and hitting them. I began to hear heavier things being thrown and asked Jacob and Jack to stop. Jacob rarely listens to me and neither does Jack and soon I heard a "I am hurt and going to die" scream from Jacob. I was sitting on the top stair and didn't jump right up because I was mad and had asked them to stop and they hadn't. Soon the scream was more than a "I am going to die" it was a "I am dead and I might kill the person who just killed me."
I went up stairs and Jack Jack was already saying sorry Jacob SORRY. Jacob looked at me as I slowly removed his hand from his forehead. It was then I noticed blood pooling from a gash over his left eye. One good pulse and blood was all over my hands and down Jacob's face. I hurried him "off the carpet" and over the bathroom sink. Opened a drawer for a wash cloth, passed up the nice pretty cream colored one and went for the faded red one.
I ran downstairs, called my friend and started putting dinner away.
Planning on heading to the ER, I decided to get a second opinion before waiting on a Sunday in the ER for 4 hours. Matt our good friend (the Vet) took a look and said it could use stitches but he thought steri strips would do fine. Poloncic had some Steri strips and a iodine swab, soon we were back over at Dr. Cranes on the exam table aka Kitchen counter and in no time 6 steri strips were applied and one large fabric bandage. With a little Tylenol, presto good as new. Well all but the scar that is going to be above his left eye.
"Dr." Crane mentioned to Jacob, that he couldn't be silly anymore, or run around a lot, jump off of things etc... or it would start pouring blood again. I LOVE DR. CRANE!

The good old vet. They're just as good, right?!
That's awesome!
Jack and Sara should never get together! Can you imagine the damage they would inflict upon themselves! Wish I had a vet that lived close by. It would save us hundreds!
That is hilarious!-- not that he got hurt but the title. I'm sure Dr. Crane fixed him up well.
Dr Crane loves human patients that let him work on them. Poor Jacob!
I agree with Krista, Jack, Sara, and Kendal all together would be a hay day for any doctor. When are we going to get together?!?!?!
