I was a bit worried about them being able to control his diabetes while at the zoo with tons of other kids. I would have liked to have gone or have Brian go but Brian is out of town and I need to stay with Aiden and Jack. Mrs. Wade does a terrific job as does Jacob. He brought home a tiger hat and some cool sunglasses, along with a little stamp pass that showed all the animals he saw!
Mamos came down on Friday morning shortly after Jacob went off on the bus to the zoo. This weekend we were able to take a ton of things to the dump and a few things to the DI trailer. Brian came home late Friday and mowed the law and my mom and I planted all of my starts from Spring hill nursery, along with some other garden items on Saturday. She sure doesn't let pain slow her down, I am a 'Shelia' compared to her.
With such a good looking family, this picture does not flatter any of us!
It is just plain "nuts" how busy my mom is! While she was down here, my Dad found some problems with "Jenny's Spring." This is the spring that my Grandfather named after me and that provides water to our house. So my mom ended her trip early and went home Sunday to help take care of the water problems. It is a good thing they had water storage...NOTE TO SELF AND BRIAN IF YOU ARE READING THIS... FILL THE WATER BARREL!
My mom was trying to make the boys smile by putting her hands up to make a silly face, "monkey see, monkey do!"
