Jack Jack vs. Jack

Jack Jack Update:
Jack Jack is starting to speak a lot more and beginning, thanks to Aiden, to actually say his words correctly. Some of the words that Brian and I will miss are;

up-a-dare = up there
hel-e-coccer = Helicopter
Da-eee = Daddy
bare-pane = Airplane

I also noticed about 3 weeks ago that Jack Jack will point to letters and say the name of the letter or the sound. We tested him on Saturday when my parents were here and he got most of the letters right, or he would say the sound. When he didn't know the letter he would say;

"I can't see it!" We would tell him what is was and he would say, "oh, H."

Jack Jack also has been better in nursery! It was only three weeks ago I think that he took a truck to Cade Bosshardts head. The unusual thing about that day is that I had noticed how changed he had been lately. Just the day before, at cousin Mary's blessing, he was so good with his cousins. Jack Jack was born the same year as 3 other cousins and has been known to like to eat his cousin Rebekah, 'cause she tastes so sweet'. Over all Jack has calmed down a bunch and we are very thankful.

The biggest game that my boys all play right now is copy cat! I have never had to deal with this before it must be a kindergarten/preschool thing. I find all three boys, yes Jack Jack loves to get involved, copying what the other is saying. They all hate it, but I find them doing it to each other all the time.

Jack Jack vs. Jack (Jack Jack's alter ego)
On Saturday Brian was getting ready for the boys soccer game and Jack Jack came into the bathroom. We have a full length mirror in our master bathroom and soon Brian heard a Jack Jack vs. Jack copycat game in full swing. "Stop copy-ing me" Jack Jack would say as he would hit the mirror. Jack in the mirror never gave up and hit him right back. "Stop a copy-ing me" he would say again and then move out of view in the mirror and quickly move back only to see that this Jack was just as fast as he was. Hands clinched in rage and yelling as loudly as he could, he voiced his concern about this master copy kid again, "stop-a-copying me."
Brian said that this argument went on for at least 5 -10 min. Jack Jack who likes to be the Alpha Male in the house had met his match. Who was this kid, where did he come from and why in the world does he keep copying me.

I can so imagine Jack just getting so irritated at that mirror! So dang funny! I love it, maybe Kendal needs to get mad at herself so she can tell herself off and talk. Actually, I am quite proud of my littlest goose, she said very clearly in the Do It Best parking lot today "I want chocolate." We had just finished off a package of turtles, and apparently, she sure liked them!
Love the new gun in Jack's pj bottoms!
