Beautiful Day in NOV.

Wow, how lucky are we that it is the week before Thanksgiving
and it is absolutely beautiful weather. I have seen more Christmas lights go up this year than in the ten years I have lived here. Brian got ours up too! Wait that was last year...

We were able to get a lot of work done today, we stained the deck out back, it could use one more coat but it looks substantially better. I also was able to get a nice coat of sealer on our colored stamped concrete. It looks so much better. I think our project have come to a screaming halt, as it is going to snow this weekend.
I love working in my yard and on my house. I love the feeling of accomplishing something that looks so beautiful.
I also love Do it Best Hardware, I am a regular there. Tom, who is pictured above, is my sweet "answer man." His knowledge has brought me to the wonderful home improvement guru that I am today.

Jacob and Aiden wanted to help so they went over to Corey's and played. They were such a tremendous help, I had Katie Poloncic come over and watch Jack but he got tired after about 1/2 hour and he went to bed and slept until we were done around 4 p.m. He is such a good baby, he puts himself to bed most days for his nap, he use to do it at night as well but that is all changed.

Jen, I have found out we have the same love- Latimer's Do it Best Hardware store. I totally love that place! The guys all know me, Tom was in my bishopric when we lived in Midway, so he is Bro Latimer to me.
Whenever my dad is up here and I have him busy working on a project, we always have to run to Latimers and he says it feels hometown because they all know me there. Tori has even been in there with me and remarked on how all the nice guys help me and joke around with me.

By the way, that deck and concrete look very spiffy! Good Job! If that slivver (SP???) gets infected, I also have a twitch for Brian. Oh wait, do you still have those handcuffs? What a Sheila!

Rachel,
Twitch: by definition; a device used in the restraint of horses; there are a great many designs. The standard twitch consists of a loop of cord or chain at the end of a short, 2 ft (0.6 m), wooden handle. A fold of muzzle is enclosed in the loop which is then screwed tight. The handle may be held by an assistant or tied to the halter.

Betsy Lou, you two-faced, man stealing, skinny little girl! How in the world are you? Thanks for the twitch info, you must have experience using one on some poor creature!
