So my feet were starting to get a blister before the Pantheon, so Brian got a Taxi for us and I tightened my shoes a bit and they seem to feel better. So you would think we were done for the day right, wrong we still have more...
The Trevi Fountain standing 85 feet high and 65 feet wide, it is the largest fountain in the city.
A traditional legend holds that if visitors throw a coin into the fountain, they are ensured a return to Rome. Approximately 3,000 euros are thrown into the fountain each day however, there are regular attempts to steal coins from the fountain.

The fountain was refurbished in 1998; the stonework was scrubbed and the fountain provided with recirculating pumps.

The Spanish Steps (Itlian: Scalinata della Trinità dei Monti) climbing a steep slope between the Piazza di Spagna at the base and Piazza Trinità dei Monti. The Scalinata is the longest and widest staircase in Europe.Taming of the waters is the theme, Tritons with his shell chariot, taming seahorses.
The monumental stairway of 138 steps
At the top of the steps we were able to purchase some paintings. On the way back to the Hotel we stopped for some dinner. Brian loves sea bass and it was the special, so it was decided that he would order a pizza and I would order the sea bass. I guess my face looked pretty priceless when they presented the beautiful fish, (with head and tail) to me and said "isn't that beautiful?" because the lady at the next table couldn't stop laughing. She was not American, but I don't think she thought the head with cooked eyes looked good either. The waiter then took it away to "prepare" it for me. When he presented me with the plate it looked a heck of a lot better... it tasted good too. He de-boned it and took off the skin and fins, all except one... oops missed that one. I offered some to nice giggly dinner neighbor and she declined... It was good and so was my 4 euro bottle of water.

I can't believe the things you were able to see and do. What an amazing experience. I know I said it before, but thanks for sharing.
So I was worried all the women would be topless in the fountain-- guess I was wrong. Wphew!
