Once in a lifetime...

I often tell Brian that he has too many once in a life time opportunities. Just to name a few, at the end of May Brian was able to fly a PV-2 Harpoon WWII Navy Bomber, or the blue bomber plane, as I and the boys call it.
"Jen, it is a once in a lifetime opportunity." He told me as he left us once again alone up at my parents house after just returning to Heber from a week long trip! Brian you have too many O.I.A.L.T.O.! For instance last summer "the time you went to Paris!"
He said oh that is not a once in a lifetime opportunity anyone can go and do that! "But can anyone say that they had a week in Paris and didn't have to pay for anything?" I guess it was work, really! But wait he is a pilot and he didn't do any flying over seas, but he did go to a airshow. (please note that I tease my husband and we love each other still)We just moved into our new house and our neighbors came over to visit! Brian and Wayne started talking and soon found out that Brian was a pilot. He and his family were outside when Brian flew the PV-2 Harpoon over and he snapped a picture. I thought it extremely kind that he printed it off and brought it over to us. We truly have amazing neighbors!

I however am beginning to like that he travels a lot, for this time I get to go with him. I am excited to go over to Europe and meet up with Brian and do some traveling. I thought maybe we should tell people we are going for our 11th anniversary and make it seem so romantic and Brian seem more amazing than he already appears, wait sorry IS.
"Yes Brian and I are going over to Rome, then Venice and ending up in Paris for our 11th wedding anniversary. "
Or I figured I could tell people we are going for Brian's Birthday, Charlee's Birthday, or just a quick get away! I thought it sounded better when we were going for something like an anniversary instead of "well Brian is in Paris for a week by himself, I might as well go to Paris for a week!"

Soooo "Happy Anniversary Brian! I love you with all my heart and I can't wait for our romantic vacation!" Here is to my once in a lifetime opportunity!

So So So JEALOUS! It is a once in a life time opportunity for most, but an unpossibility for others like myself. Sucks.
