Time to sum up! Here is Paris, we had just arrived to Paris on a all night train ride! That was an experience... we took a train to our hotel but could not check in until 3 PM so we walked to the Eiffel Tower then...

To the Arch De Triomphe, the arch in Paris was commissioned by Napoleon in 1806 ... The Arch is located at the end of the Champs-Élysées. Some of the "top" shopping in Europe.

We ate at a "Quickie Burger" instead of the fancy restaurants. We continued our walk down the Champs-Elysees, through the Tuileries, and directly into the Louvre.

The Louvre was huge! I had no idea it was that big. The Ferris wheel was beautiful and the Toulries amazing!

Here we are in line to get into the Louvre! I felt like we were trying to solve a mystery!

The Louvre was amazing. Once we went through security we walked to get in line to buy tickets. While in line a woman came up to us and gave us two tickets she said "do you want two tickets I have to go, they haven't been used." We said sure and we were set.

Strange thing about the Louvre, the famous pieces were interesting but not necessarily my favorite.

Take for instance this, now that is quilted softness. This is all Marble, yet it looked light and soft! Amazing, of course she needs more blankets draped over her instead of under her ; )

This is "Venus de Milo" one of the memorable things about looking at her was that we could stand on a large vent blowing up cool air. A few girls had a Marilyn Monroe moment. Everything was amazing, I wish I had been over here when I was in school and art was so fresh in my head.

Eating Lunch one day in Paris!

This I think was one time when we were walking from our hotel to the Eifel Tower. Or the Tower de Eiffel.

Some gardens, it seemed that some rich dude owned this and now it is owned by the French government??? Something like that.

Same Gardens

This beautiful reflection pond had enormous fish in it. Next we crossed the river and walked to Notre Dame, this is where our camera really started giving us trouble.

The windows inside were amazing, everywhere you looked more window, and even more amazing than the first.

I remember walking out of the Church and seeing a man leave a black bag unattended and it made me think for minute, then I saw the puke it was blocking and his poor puking wife and I thought... so glad I am not pregnant in Europe.

This is right outside the Church I love the Gargoyles! The subway system in Paris is awesome, soon we were at the Church of the Sacred heart.

We walked to the top, up and up...

And up.... almost 300 stairs round and round... these are pictures of us going down. It was dark and some of the photo's I took showed some vulgar graffiti on the side walls that I didn't see in the dark but appeared thanks to the flash. I left those photo's out.

More stairs...

This still was not the top, More Stairs...
