Jenny Long Rowser: He was set free tonight... I am afraid he might live under our hot tub now!I thought about it all night... it was RIGHT outside my door! I am getting brave I guess. :)Due to the 3" of snow, Jacob warmed up tissues in the microwave this morning and took them out and covered up the snake with them lol BOYS
Pet update: Snake escaped out of oxygen hole. Found in window well. Sunday story, "mama the snake led us to food for him." Also found a lot of snails in window well. Snake back in new container with worms and snails to eat! EWWWWWW

Jenny Long Rowser I agree Samantha, it will be dead soon I am sure. The kids have it in a container... it will be a long slow death. Poor snake

Lori Ann Halling Livingston just keep them in that new container. I will never get my kids out to help weed if they know there are snakes in the neighborhood... We almost grabbed one one year and that was the end of weeding for all of us!

snake update: He is still in our yard and currently gettting snowed on! I do not like snakes, but that has to be cold!!!!! The boys are so worried, they woke up first thing to go check on him, now they want to give him a blanket!

Jenny Long Rowser :) I agree Dawnell, I don't know why but I feel bad for this one. He was bleeding when we found him and I had just talked to the kids about not trying to KILL the birds and other animals. So I couldn't tell them to finish the job... I hate being a mom with a soft heart... even for snakes YUCK! I really don't think he is going to make it. So he might be a good snake after all.

Snake update: Sneaky (our pet snake) has left to the other side. Aiden wanted to have a small funeral for sneak... and top his grave with a Dandelion... seriously where does he get this from? Anyway, the sun came out and sneaky b-lined it for the ditch. He made it to the road... poor sneak! We looked all over for ...him and found him while we were driving home from the airport!
