I shut off his alarm. When I woke him up for school he was worried about it dieing warmed up a tissue in the microwave and covered up the snake. The snake hadn't moved and had a fresh 3" of snow on him. Aiden went out and moved him next to the house for protection and they went off to school.
I guess I am getting soft in my old age because I found myself going out and checking on sneaky while the kids were gone. One time I checked on Sneaky in the snow while kids were at school. I thought sneak was dead, his mouth was open... touched him with a stick and NOPE he is still alive. The thing I thought was his mouth was a dead leaf.

Aiden got off the bus and sneaky was still doing okay... Aiden dug up some worms and found some snails to feed him!

Soon I had to run some errands, went to the store and ended up picking up Jacob from school. As soon as we got home they checked on Sneaky and he wasn't there anymore. Spent a good hour looking for sneaky... Brian called and had been able to come home early. Aiden so sad that Daddy couldn't see sneaky... it was so close! 5:30 went to pick up daddy from airport and noticed a dead snake in the road... YEP when we got back, daddy was able to see "flat Sneaky" Poor Sneak.

For Family home evening we wrote Letters to GG and worked on the articles of faith.

I played soccer outside with the boys until we went to pick up Daddy.
