The kids asked me if I would take them to the skate park. I thought, what is stopping me really; dishes, myself, surely nothing important... SURE lets go. I loaded up the bikes and we took them to the bike shop because Jack's bike had a flat and his other little one had two broken pedals. They fixed us up and we were off to the skate park. They played until it was time to pick up Jacob and I again thought, why don't we go back... SURE! So we went again and let Jacob ride for a bit too. We played at the park after then to top it off we stopped at the library and checked out some books and played in the "holes" read books and last, made a little library worker mad when Aiden climbed the stairs and launched a stuffed spider off the top of the stair case and hit Jacob as he was walking by. YEP time to go, Aiden apologized to the little library lady and told her that she got mad at the wrong person, it was him and Jacob had nothing to do with it. She said thank you and don't come back. Okay not that but I am sure she thought it. I was glad that he told her that Jacob didn't do anything because she had scolded Jacob and he looked at me like, what did I do?

I hate the grumpy, rude ladies at the Heber Library. They suck. They give me dirty looks every time I go there. They think kids should be seen and not heard. Maybe they don't want to be heard either. Oh, and they got mad at my kids too. Needless to say, I never go there anymore. Not worth it.
No more fun when I'm away, maybe this is why the kids no longer give me the enthusiastic 5 way hug when I get home anymore.
