1/2 way to Prom

It was Jr. Prom here this weekend, thinking about Jacob going to Jr. Prom in a few years is crazy. Things seem to fly by, and I don't want to miss any of it. I wanted this day to be extra special for Jacob, I wanted him to feel the spirit and to be ready to be baptized.
I think it happened, we have talked about baptism and I have had others talk to him. We have read our scriptures and he is saying his night and morning prayers. I too have been blessed with teaching Jacob how to recognize the spirit and how to understand answers to prayers and also understand the scriptures better. We are not perfect, but we sure notice a difference when we are doing what we should.
I was glad to recognize that for Jacob to have a special day we needed to prepare. It would not come on it's own we had to do our part and Heavenly Father will do his. I always feel like I could do better and again I am sure I could have done more or taught him more, but the way I felt that day couldn't have been any better. I am so proud that he is my son, I love him. Oh and Brian was pretty amazing too.

The best place to look for someone to make you happy is in the mirror! Accept who you are and be content, God made you that way. I love you Jacob Reed Rowser. I hope that you continue to feel Really REALLY Happy.
