What will they say next?

Aiden: Mom, it is no fair that the girls get to be cheerleaders, dance, and they get to join girl scouts.
Me: ???? you will be in boy scouts when you are older Aiden, and boys can be cheerleaders too???
I was very confused until Jacob came home with a notice that the Waspettes are having a dance class for the girls and another paper that had an advertisement about girl scouts. I realized only the girls in Aiden's class received the papers and he didn't think that was fair. So I am thinking of signing Aiden up for Waspettes Dance classes. $25 for 7 hours of Dancing plus a T-shirt, wouldn't they be so surprised.

We are all going into my room to watch a movie...

Jacob: I can smell hot tub.

Me: really???

Aiden: me too.

I walk over to that side of the bed and sure enough Brian's swimming trunks are there. I pick them up and can instantly smell the "hot tub" smell. I am afraid I have lost my extremely sensitive nose and Jacob has found it. Now I just have a sensitive nose. The funny thing is, I don't think Brian has been in the hot tub for at least 3 days.
Jacob always knows when Brian has been in the hot tub the night before. The next day at breakfast he will walk by him and say "you have been in the hot tub I can smell it."

Aiden... as he is getting off the bus a week or so ago: Mom are those new pants?
Me: No, well I guess someone gave them to me.

Aiden... as he is getting off the bus two weeks ago: Mom are those new shoes?
Me: Yes someone gave them to me

Aiden... as he is getting off the bus today: Mom is that a new coat? Let me guess someone gave it to you.
My boys are so observant, they notice things that Brian would never ever ever ever notice. Paint color, new things, hair cuts, smells, make up, weight loss, the even on occasion notice something out of place and put it away.

Charlee is so cute, she will walk to her room, pass something, turn around pick it up and put it away then go back to what she was doing. This happens often.

I came out to say goodbye to the boys as Brian and I were headed out to dinner. Aiden said, you look like Amanda Jones (my friend) Jack said: I think you look beautiful mama. I said thanks and then turned to leave.
Jack again: you look beautiful like Tess.

I think Jack has a HUGE CRUSH on Brady's Girlfriend.

Austin was too shy to even speak to Tess. Cute thing. And you always look beautiful, but it's sure nice when someone voices it. It doesn't happen often enough. I hear it from Lana. Gotta love kids.
