Jacob Reed Rowser was born at exactly 12:00 a.m, the night of the 1st. We were told we could pick his birthday, we could have a April fools baby or we could have a April 2nd baby. We went with the actual day of birth on the 2nd.

At the age of 7 he wishes we would have gone with the 1st. We will see how long that lasts.
We celebrated his birthday with our family a few days ago because Brian was to be out of town. Brian's ever changing schedule made it possible for him to get back into town late last night.

We picked up the boys about 10 min. early from school and took them to a movie in Park City. Monsters vs. Aliens! With a large popcorn, a large drink and unlimited refills, we found that was enough for us to make a complete and total mess. While I was out with Charlee and Brian was out with a phone call, Jack and the boys had a fight over who should hold the popcorn. IT was not pretty when I walked back in.

Candles, cake, homework, and off to bed they went! I felt kind of bad because he had no presents to open, but he never said a word! Oh, I missed my quilt guild AGAIN!

Did I mention the cake was terrible, can you guess the color of frosting?

You are such a sport. Austin had cupcakes and a few presents, but it wasn't too exciting. He would have loved to go to the movies, but I'm not brave enough to take my whole clan.
Cute happy girl!
midnight? They let you chose? That is wild!!
