Girls night minus 3

Over conference weekend Jody put together a girls night for all of the Rowser's/Simper Women. Girls night/Amanda's (Simper) baby shower + hair bow making, while the men attended Priesthood session. Jody arranged a babysitter for "all" the kids, and the girls minus 3 went out to dinner. I said in the title girls night minus 3 because Sooz was unable to attend, Kendra lives in Arizona, and then there is Suzanne. (Below Amanda and Jody)Suzanne is not related to Amanda, you see Amanda is the daughter-in-law to Janis and Lee Rowser. Janis is the wonderful mother of Erik and the wife to Lee Rowser. Suzanne and Lee have been divorced for some time now, I think everyone felt the love that she expressed as we pulled out a beautiful baby blanket she had made for Amanda.
Shopping, dinner, hair bows, gifts, babysitters, and General Conference, it was a nice nice day.Our family stayed the night down in Salt Lake with Brent's family. My boys absolutely love cousin sleepovers. Brian and Jody were able to watch Jane Austin's "persuasion" much to the dismay of Brent. Brian did mention to Jody, to "please ask in private, from now on if he would like to watch Jane Austin with her."
It was quite amusing to see Jody excitedly rush into the front room and in front of the entire family ask Brian if he wanted to watch Jane Austin with her. She didn't ask me, no she asked Brian. Brent and I of coarse knew that we would be watching as well, but this is a thing between Brian and Jody. Brian instantly, with excitement in his voice, retorted Yes! Then with looks of amazement and surprise, all relatives saw Brian in a new light. Jane Austin, REALLY!
We started the movie kind of late, I think that is why Brent slept through it... hee hee. It was a great show and we enjoyed it very much. Thanks for letting us stay over.
Brian needed to get back to Heber to fly out so we left Sunday morning. Emily and Ethan were able to come and stay with us over night. Jody plans on coming up and helping me pack tomorrow and pick up the kids.
