I watched them running after me in my rear view mirror and it took me back 14 years to my apartment in Logan. Fourteen or so years ago I happened to turn on the T.V. and my favorite movie was on, just the ending, but I found myself sitting on my M and W couch crying while watching the ending of Savannah Smiles. I cried and cried, my roommate Heather walked in and well I don't remember exactly but, she might of sat by me and cried or she might of laughed at me and then told me "it was okay, Alvie gets on the truck in the end."
While I am watching the kids in the mirror I hear Jacob yell, "Mom Jack is scared please stop." I stop and let their little legs catch up. I had only gone around the first turn, when I saw Jacob stop running to help Jack catch up. He is a good big brother. Aiden is also a good big brother, but he kept running and never looked back, smiling as only Aiden can smile.
Finally when Jack realized I really was not going to abandon them up on memorial hill. They all decided that they wanted to run down the mountain. They did, all three of them ran behind the Armada the whole way down. I love my BOYS, oh and my Girl! Here is the last scene from Savannah Smiles for you to watch and Cry over. It even has the music, ENJOY!The movie starts off fuzzy but gets better, it is posted below!

So, do you think next time they'll think you're serious. I remember many Sundays walking to church because I wasn't ready. Do all parents do that!? I LOVE the movie SAvannah smiles, a classic.
I just commented on the youtube thing. oops! so go down there & read what I had to say!
I love that movie by the way! ?Doesn't the little girl remind you of drew barrymore?
what is an m and w couch?
That is a LONG way to run all the way down that hill - what strong little legs you have at your house!
Wait....I am still laughing...ok, I SO remember my Mom doing that to us kids. One time she dropped us five kids (five kids out of six..Nathan was a baby) and made us walk a few miles home from the Commissary on Base in New Mexico because we were horrible in the store and in the car ride home. We didn’t think she was serious...she was. I LOVE "Savannah Smiles". That was my FAVORITE movie when I was little. I watched it over and over and over again. So sad but so cute.
I would have run down the hill with the boys if I would have been there.
