I went to Smiths this afternoon and did a bit of shopping. I got onto Pinching your pennies and printed off a list of things that I wanted to get. I then found my coupons for those things and printed off all the online coupons I needed. I grabbed my list, my coupons, and my Kroger checks that come in the mail. This is what I bought:

1 pork tenderloin ($12.82)
1 Large can of Similac ($24.48)
6 I can't believe it's not butter spray (zero points with weight watchers)
2 boxes of Rotini Pasta
1 Hershey's Strawberry syrup (AIDEN)
1 Skim winder dairy milk ($4.19) This is for my diet
1 1% milk ($2.00) so much cheaper but I don't like the taste

My Total was $98.62
Then the coupons -$35.00
then my Kroger checks -$50.00
= $16.62 was charged to my credit card
I also got a 15 cent fuel reward because my bill totaled over $90. I also got a $10 off your next purchase coupon from my baby rewards (diapers and Formula)

Well the Kroger checks come as a reward for using the kroger credit card. I use the card for all my gas (gives me an extra 5 cents off per gal, so if I have a 15 cent coupon I get 20 cents off per gallon of gas I purchase) and I use it for my grocery's. I earn a higher % back if I buy Kroger products but over all I recieve a normal % back. I recieve the Checks about ever 3 months and they usually come with other coupons for things that I buy often! I get mailings of money off and coupons about once a month too! It helps tons!
