My mom this trip was able to help me clean out my deep freeze, go to the lake with us, get my laundry somewhat caught up, etc... I know how bad she hurts but nothing stops her. I know that my family and my brothers family have been blessed by my parents serving a mission and serving in the Temple. I hope that she too will be blessed and that her back, shoulder, neck, and legs will be strong and that she will be in less pain.
Looking back 10 years, I didn't think I aged that much nor did I think that my mom did. It scares me a bit that my parents are getting older too, it is not just me.
Anyway my mom made us lunch today. My boys love zucchini and sausage but they don't like tomato's. They did okay with it, I thought it was really really good. I have been wanting it again and I think I am going to pick up some kielbasa sausage at the store.

YUMMY! I wasn't sure when my mom first told me what she was making, but it was sooo good! Nice warm veggies on a cold wet day!

My dad has an enormous garden down at my Grandma's and he is constantly bringing me fresh fruit and veggies. You gotta love it! I have never bottled before this year, and I think that I am addicted. It is so easy and cheap to do, well, with the help of my dad's garden.
