With a Giddy up and a Yee-ha

Brian took the boys to the "Mountain Valley Stampede" tonight, this is what I saw when they came home at 10:30.
What our neighbors saw was three little boys at the Rodeo with no Dad! Brian left the boys in their seats for a short time to go visit with his friend Wilder. He could see the boys the entire time and when he arrived back he noticed that the boys were talking to someone. Right behind the boys sat Crystal and Scott Swayze. They told Brian that they were keeping an eye on them for him. Brian was a bit embarrassed and became even more so when our good friend Joy who was also sitting right there said hello and gave him a hug.
Side note: I have to add that the Swayze's find our boys hilarious in Church to watch. Maybe they find me and Brian trying to calm the boys down very entertaining. I run into them everywhere they are such a cute couple and it is funny to hear what they see and hear my boys do! So it was perfect that they were out for the evening on a date "watching" my boys. Brian splurged and got each of the boys a horse so they could race in the child's stick horse race... Jack came in third behind a child who was carried by his mother. Jacob did really well even after he lost a shoe and Aiden tripped over a child who had fallen right in front of him. Aiden got right back up and ran to the finish line.
I am sure this race brought a whole new light to the word "stampede." After the race ended another race began for Brian. He could not find Jacob's tester. He figured it had been missing for more than an hour and Brian was getting really nervous. After looking all over, he noticed Liz. She was in charge of the little race, and he asked her if by chance she had seen a little black case. She said "YES." Thank goodness!
Thanks to Jonesy for giving the boys some wranglers! Jacob and Aiden favorite part of the "stampede" was they said they saw a horse drive a truck!
Aiden wore a pair of Jacob's wranglers and his new boots that mamos got for him. Jacob was excited to wear the cowboy braided belt that mamos found.
Not sure what Aiden was thinking when he posed for this picture. The other boys got down with him and posed too. I guess it is better than a "Paris Hilton" that's Hot pose.

That last picture is pretty funny. Your older boys look so much like the kid pictures I've seen of your dad! I bet I have one of your dad on a horse.

Dana, I would love to see it! Do you have my email?

I would have to look. I have thousands of photos (not exaggerating!). I'll see if I can find a couple of your dad, or uncles and aunts. I know there are a few of the "cousins" on horses.
