Butterfly dust

In our backyard (Idaho) we have some purple cone flower that the butterflies just love. My boys like this because they are able to catch butterflies pretty easily.



Jacob loved catching the butterflies and bringing them to the house to show us. He was so proud of the pretty butterflies he caught. I asked him if any had bit him? "Mommaaaa" he would say. As if so say stop teasing me about the butterfly poop incident.

Here he is letting one go, look at his hands with all the butterfly dust in them! The poor butterflies.
