All of this swimming in the Cub River reminds me of when I was younger.
One time my Aunt Shelia, Uncle John, and family came up to stay with us for a weekend. My cousin Telsie and I spent one of the days down in the river bottoms. During the summer the head gates on the river are closed and below the head gates the water doesn't flow much. So we found some really cool things that the river left behind. Some of the swimming holes had large mud mounds next to them and we were able to slide down the mud and into the water. It felt a little like "Swiss family Robinson."

(Jacob coming up from a nice refreshing dip!)

Telsie and I had a ton of fun sliding down and swimming at this swimming spot and stayed for a long time. Long enough that my Aunt Shelia and my Mom came down to find us. When they found us and saw what a cool spot we had found they decided to go for a dip themselves. They had not worn their swimming suits so they striped down into their g's and took a refreshing dip. I think they even tried the slide for a bit. Cont...
(The rope swing was very popular on this trip to the river. This is Jacob.)

We had so much fun with our moms that we lost track of time again and soon my Uncle John and my Dad got worried and came to find us. They couldn't believe that their crazy wives, sisters mind you, had gone skinny dipping in the river. I love my Groovy mom!
Come up to swim in the Cub River and Mamos will push you on the rope swing!
I love this picture of Jacob, with Aiden swinging in back with Daddy and Jack!

Even Leslie had a fun time. She was so great, she didn't get cold, she is no Shelia! When my boys act silly and wimpy we call them Shelia's. This has nothing to do with my Aunt Shelia nor does it have to do with my parents serving a mission in Australia. We just started doing it. We have some friends who also have little boys, they call their son Alice and another friend calls their son Karen when he gets whinny.

Here is another short video clip of the river. Leslie is in this one and she falls into the river after trying to look back at what Aiden is doing. She doesn't even cry or make any fuss at all. Leslie is one tough cookie, it is a good thing with all of her boy cousins, on our side and on her side of the family.

Doesn't she remind you of "boo" on Monsters Inc. she is such a jabber box! I love how she talks.

That looks like so much fun! I wish it was warm enough here to do something like that!
