Debbie: "You know I do more than quilt all day long!"
Me: Sure Debbie.
My thought later on was, so do I but not by choice... In my mind I could quilt all day long, I know that I really couldn't do that day after day but sometimes it feels like I just want to quilt all day long.
Well I got out in my yard with the boys tonight for F.H.E. and we cleaned up the flower beds, and planted some flowers. Jacob, Aiden, and Jack all came out with their garden gloves eager to help before I even asked. Jack Jack had my calico winter stretch gloves, I thought that was funny.
We ate Popsicles, pulled up grass, raked out leaves, and planted some plants. The boys were so helpful, it really surprised me what they were able to do and how well they did it. Soon they were off playing in the park with other families who had gathered to play a game of soccer for FHE.
Over all today has been a really good day. The boys have still been put into time out, but they went and folded their arms without a fight. They have played well, listened well, and of course Jacob has given me at least 4 hugs today telling me "momma, you are the best!" I love that I have not had to get really upset with them today! Tonight I pray that I will have lots of these days!
So as for still wanting to quilt all day long, I don't think so. I love my kids and the time we are able to spend together, I love working in my yard (hopefully the extra Tylenol tonight will help make that so in the morning), and I love quilting. Yes I do more than quilt all day long too!
These pictures are for my Mom who didn't remember the quilt I was working on. This is for Charly, Elizabeth, Emma, or MaNia or Joshua if they are totally wrong with the ultra sound.

what kind of flowers can
you plant now? I love flowers
but here in Heber it is hard
to figure out what to plant.
Vicky,
I ordered some perennials from a catalog and I planted some of those. Right now as far as annuals, some pansies. They are fine with the cold! You need to have Rachel have a R.S. on potting up some pots for our front porches!
love that quilt!
Love it love it
you did a super job
cute quilt!
You are amazing Jenny!! Just think you started quilting in Jan '08 and look at you now! I thought I was doing well with this new hobby, but I'm not as talented as you. You are an inspiration to me!
